"The 2017 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru is clean and crisp, almost clinical, on the intense nose, but I feel it’s beginning to close down for a phase. The palate is very well balanced and full of tension, but strict and linear, with a saline finish and not much else... for now. Cellar this for several years and you will have a serious Les Perrières on your hands. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting in Savigny-lès-Beaune."
