The 2005 Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru emanates a profound aura, boasting a deep and alluring hue in the glass. Its aroma is a testament to its pedigree, offering a complex bouquet that intertwines layers of ripe red and black fruits, infused with nuances of forest floor, dried herbs, and exotic spices. On the palate, this Grand Cru unfolds with grace and power, revealing a harmonious blend of fruit, earth, and minerality. Silky-smooth tannins caress the tongue, while vibrant acidity lends freshness and vitality to the wine. As the tasting journey progresses, flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums dance on the palate, accompanied by hints of licorice and cedar. The finish is nothing short of majestic, lingering on the senses with elegance and persistence, leaving an indelible impression of finesse and complexity.

Antonio Galloni - 94+ Points

"Deep red-ruby. Pure but tight aromas of dark raspberry, brown spices and graphite. Dense, fat and rich but quite youthfully reduced, showing notes of smoke and toast. This amazingly chewy and tactile wine needs a lot of patience. Sullen today but very long and strong on the back end, with a powerful impression of dry extract and a finishing note of chocolate. If you invest in a wine like this, don't even think of opening it any time soon (Jeremy Seysses suggests waiting 12 years)."
