"(a blend of estate fruit and purchased must from vines on the Chassagne side): Pale color. Ripe, peach, smoky oak and clove on the nose. Fat, dense and sweet; showing less personality and class than the Corton-Charlemagne but noteworthy depth and weight. I don't find a lot of aromatic lift but this very rich wine appears to be passing through a sullen stage."
