Details
Piper Heidsieck NV Brut presents a lively pale hue with silver and green highlights, reflecting its vibrant character. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of fresh orchard fruits—crisp apples and juicy pears—intermingled with the nuttiness of almonds and hazelnuts. These aromas are complemented by a subtle smokiness, evoking the comforting scent of freshly baked bread. The palate is marked by its precise balance, displaying a fine interplay between richness and finesse. With a light to medium body, the wine carries a refreshing acidity that leads to a long, clean finish, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and clarity.
Robert Parker -
"A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, including 30% of reserve wines, Piper-Heidsieck’s NV Brut Cuvée was disgorged with eight grams per liter. From the very first whiff, there are surprisingly compelling scents of red berries, pear and peach, biscuits and autolyze scents. The palate is balanced, light to medium-bodied and elegantly fleshy with a fresh finish."
Antonio Galloni - 90 Points
"Pale color with silver and green highlights. Complex, spicy, nicely ripe aromas of citrus skin and minerals. Ripe, fresh and concentrated; rich but refined, with a moderate dosage Lovely lemony acidity contributes to a youthful impression. Offers impressive intensity and clarity of flavor. Long and firm on the back end."
