Domaines Peyronie 2020 'Chateau Pauillac'

Château Fonbadet, located in southern Pauillac, Bordeaux, is the flagship property of Domaines Peyronie. The estate produces three wines: Château Fonbadet grand vin, L'Harmonie de Fonbadet, and Chateau Pauillac. The vineyards, spanning nearly 13 hectares, are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (20%), Cabernet Franc (15%), and Petit Verdot/Malbec (5%). Hand-harvested grapes undergo meticulous sorting at the château, followed by fermentation in concrete tanks. The wines have extended maceration times, up to six weeks, and mature in barrels for approximately 18 months. Pascale Peyronie, the third generation, manages the estate, acquired by her grandfather Robert Peyronie in 1950.
