Lisa Perrotti-Brown - 96 Points

"I tasted a barrel sample of the 2021 Patria Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec, and 5% Cabernet Franc. It is deep garnet-purple in color and waltzes out with open-knit notes of crème de cassis, blueberry compote, and chocolate box, plus touches of wild sage and dried roses. The full-bodied palate has a firm, serious texture of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to support the generous fruit, finishing long and pure."

Jeb Dunnuck - 94 Points

"Coming from a mix of terrific sites (Oakville Ranch, Georges III, Montagne) and blended with 13% Malbec and brought up in 75% new oak, the Patria 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a beautifully layered, medium to full-bodied barrel sample revealing classic aromatics (cassis, gravelly earth, chocolate, and lead pencil), ripe, polished tannins, background oak, and a great finish. It will be a terrific wine and, I suspect, will drink nicely right out of the gate."
