Robert Parker - (90-92) Points

"The 2012 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, which comes from 0.80-hectares of 50-year old vine located just below Chambertin, has a sensual bouquet: very pure and vivacious with blueberry and dark cherry fruit laced with flinty scents. The palate is very well balanced with wonderful clarity. It is silky smooth (as usual) with this domaine, very focused with a pure dark cherry and white pepper tinged finish. Fine."

Antonio Galloni - 94 Points

"Full deep red. Captivating perfume of raspberry, iron, white pepper, dried rose and white flowers. Intensely flavored and vibrant, showing outstanding inner-mouth energy to its flavors of red fruits, flowers and saline minerality. The long finish boasts superb floral lift. Christophe Perrot-Minot keeps this wine in a reduced state in barrel, noting that it has a tendency to open much faster than the Mazoyères-Chambertin."
