Robert Parker - (90-92) Points

"The 2012 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru comes from an arrangement, a gentleman’s agreement whereby Christophe harvests the fruit (not fermage or metayage). It has an attractive, floral bouquet with hints of dried violets informing the lively dark cherry fruit. The palate is silky smooth with a fine thread of acidity. It is well balanced, nicely focused with a tense sorbet-fresh finish with hints of cassis and orange rind. This is a delicious Griotte-Chambertin."

Antonio Galloni - (93-95) Points

"A lifted, perfumed and weightless wine, the 2012 Griotte-Chambertin is one of the highlights in this range. Rose petal, cinnamon, dried herbs and red cherries caress the palate. The 2012 is soft, silky and gracious throughout. It is one of the more accessible of the Grand Crus here, and should drink well relatively early."
